DESCRIPTION
The Sondex S42 plate is a direct replacement heat transfer plate for S42, S42 IS10 and related Sondex plate heat exchanger frames. Built to original dimensions, these drop straight in without modification — which matters when you’re working to a tight service schedule or trying to get a system back online quickly.
At SENOVIS PHE, we supply the S42 as an aftermarket replacement for maintenance, repair and refurbishment work. These plates see regular use across HVAC, food processing, refrigeration, chemical processing, marine cooling and energy recovery, a fairly broad spread, which reflects how widely the S42 frame gets specified in mid-range industrial installations.
On compatibility, the S42 plates also fit a wider range of Sondex frames than just the S42 variants, S41, S41A, S43, S62, S62AE, S62TY, S63 and S79 are all covered. If you’re managing several Sondex units on the same site, that cross-compatibility can meaningfully reduce the number of different plate specs you need to keep in stock.
Matching Sondex S42 gaskets are available alongside the plates for a complete replacement if needed.
