DESCRIPTION

The Sondex S21 plate is a straight replacement heat transfer plate for Sondex plate heat exchangers — specifically the S21, S21 IG, S21A and S21A IG10 models. If your unit is due for a plate replacement or you’re refurbishing an older system, these are built to the same dimensions as the originals and go in without any modification.

Material options are stainless steel and titanium. Stainless covers most standard water and glycol applications. Titanium is worth specifying if you’re dealing with seawater, chlorinated water or anything with a corrosion risk that standard grades don’t handle well — marine and coastal installations being the obvious cases.

One thing worth noting on compatibility — our S21 plates also fit a broader range of Sondex models beyond just the S21 variants.
