DESCRIPTION
The Sondex S110 plate is a direct replacement for S110 and S110-IS frames, and one of the more technically distinctive options in the Sondex range. The fishbone plate pattern is worth noting — it’s not just a design detail. The geometry produces better flow distribution and lower pressure drop than standard corrugation patterns, which makes a practical difference in applications where pumping costs matter or where flow consistency across the plate pack is critical.

Gasket options cover EPDM, NBR, HNBR and Viton — so whether you’re dealing with hot water circuits, refrigerants, oils or chemical media, there’s a compound that fits without overspecifying. If the frame is already open for a plate change, replacing gaskets at the same time is generally the more practical approach.
Compatibility extends to S100, S100B, S113, S121, S130 and S188 frames. If you’re managing multiple Sondex units on the same site, that cross-compatibility can reduce the number of different plate specs you need to keep on hand.
