DESCRIPTION

The Sondex S63 plate is a direct replacement heat transfer plate for Sondex plate and frame heat exchangers — primarily the S63, with cross-compatibility covering the S64 and S65 frames as well. Built to original dimensions, these drop straight in without modification or adjustment.


Material options are broader than most V Series equivalents SS304, SS316 and titanium are all available. SS304 covers general-purpose applications where budget matters and corrosion risk is low. SS316 is the more common industrial specification, handling chlorides and mild chemical exposure better than 304. Titanium is the right call for seawater cooling, aggressive process streams or anywhere that standard stainless has shown corrosion in service.
